How to style the perfect Tablescape
More is more when it comes to styling an instagram-worthy tablescape. To start, pick one or two cohesive colours to make up your colour scheme. We are loving pink & green right now, but we also love combining varying shades of one colour for major impact.
The next key ingredient is varying levels of height for your candles, candle holders & vases. Varying heights make styling little vignettes easy, they also create interest & ensure sight lines, especially if you are setting up a dining table.
Eclectic tablescapes are trending right now, so we like to mix ceramic & glass vases together, ensuring they are in the chosen colour scheme, in various shapes.
Bring the drama and the wow factor with lots of flowers & candles - you can never have too many - to make a major statement. Achieving a style moment doesn't have to be expensive. We visit our local flower markets to buy in bulk of in-season blooms. We create table settings by purchasing linen from our local op-shop or Spotlight to make the tablecloth or runner, place mats & napkins in the colour scheme.
Lastly, be creative & have some fun! An event is to be enjoyed, so make that your number one priority!
